We defined a slightly lighter espresso roast profile than usual. We accentuated its delicate acidity and silky texture.

THE FARM

Macúba covers an area of ​​40 hectares. Twelve hectares are planted with red catuaí trees. Its morphology is undulating. The highest point is found at 898 meters above sea level.

THE PRODUCER

Dimas Alves de Almedia inherited his parents' farm in 1895. From this point on, he began as a coffee producer. He planted 3 hectares of Mundo Novo and Catuaí trees. Aware of his limitations, he decided to focus on quality rather than quantity, implementing best agricultural practices.

Today, Dimas' production includes 12 hectares of coffee, achieving an incredible taste and quality.

Our relationship with Xorxios dates back to the spring of 2016. At that time, we were looking for an exceptional Brazilian coffee. Fazenda Serra Negra was one of the standouts at the tasting.

Originally, Xorxios focused on a single origin, Brazil, and a single region that pioneered the creation of a designation of origin and traceability for its coffees (Café do Cerrado). Today, Xorxios imports specialty coffees from all over the world.
