In our Brewing course, we will talk about the This course will cover the most common drip brewing methods and their variables, enabling you to achieve a perfect coffee infusion and extraction. We will work on controlling all the variables that influence filter brewing to consistently extract the best results. This course helps you understand coffee in a more technical way, allowing you to evaluate it from a sensory perspective different from espresso and closer to a cupping experience.

We will practice with the following filter coffee makers: Kalita, Chemex, Aeropress, French Press, Clever and Cold Brew.

We'll have a coffee and discuss:

• Anatomy of coffee beans: information, different varieties, types of processes - The importance of roasting and its different characteristics
• Process: Dosing
• Tasting and analysis.
• Filter coffee methods.
• Coffee preparation: factors that affect extraction.
• Coffee vs. water relationship. Ratios and characteristics of water.
• Types of grinding.
• Infusion temperature and contact time.
• Water turbulence over coffee particles.
• Extraction process for different methods.

We'll use professional machinery and tools so you can make your coffee like a pro and learn with complete safety and confidence. We'll answer all your questions and help you progress in the world of coffee.

When you purchase a place on a course, you will receive a confirmation email and payment receipt. We will reserve your place on our calendar so the instructor can contact you and discuss your needs. Our courses have limited enrollment to ensure we offer you high-quality, exclusive, and personalized training.

Unforeseen circumstances caused by illness or accidents are understandable. Familia Osorio's refund policy stems from the reservation of the place, the preparation of the training, and the blocking of places.

- A full refund will be issued if the course is cancelled at least 14 days prior to the start date. If you prefer, we can offer an alternative date for you to attend.

A 50% cancellation fee will be charged if the course is cancelled between 14 days and 48 hours before its start date. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 14 days or less before the course begins.
