THE PRODUCTION COMPANIES
Coffee from the Tarrazú region is among the most renowned in Costa Rica and the world, representing 40% of the national production. This production takes place at altitudes between approximately 1,200 and 1,900 meters, in climate and soil conditions ideal for cultivation. Most of the plantations are shaded by various native trees.

CoopTarrazú is committed to the personal and professional growth of women coffee producers and employees in Tarrazú, Costa Rica. Through training activities for its members, the cooperative fosters self-esteem and female empowerment. Personal development workshops are offered to enhance their skills, knowledge, and professional and personal relationships. They also run preventative programs such as the Health Fair, which includes mammograms to ensure women's health. Behind this coffee is the story of women who have been instrumental in the development of the Tarrazú region.
