India produces one of the purest varieties of Arabica beans , known as Kents. These beans were selected in 1920 by an Englishman of the same name. In the 1940s, it became a very popular variety for cultivation, especially due to its low susceptibility to mold. Currently, Kents beans grow in very few areas, but they still retain their reputation for exceptional quality . The most widespread Arabica variety in India is known as SL795. These beans were developed in 1940 using samples of Kents beans. In the cup, this coffee is extremely balanced , with certain nuances reminiscent of the aromas of Mocha .

 THE FARM

With approximately 40 hectares planted with coffee, shaded by trees, the vineyard winds through a large mountain forest. Harvesting is done by hand. It is a selective harvest, ensuring the coffee cherries are picked at the precise moment of ripeness.

The shade of this large forest provides filtered sunlight and sufficient humidity, with the advantage that the cherries can develop fully, without danger of being spoiled by too much sun.
