All our decaffeinated coffees are Swiss Water Process. This Canadian company specializes exclusively in selecting specialty coffees and removing 99.9% of the caffeine using spring water.

Each season, at Familia Osorio, we offer coffees from different origins. We roast them to their ideal point, where complex aromas and distinct flavor notes develop, highlighting the best of each terroir, variety, and quality.

WHAT IS DECAF SWP?

Swiss Water is a process for removing caffeine from coffee using water and coffee extract. It allows you to obtain decaffeinated coffee that retains all the aroma and flavor of the original coffee.

A personal observation: we're not saying that other options like CO2 Even if Sugar Cane coffees are poor decaf, they will always be far superior to chemically decaffeinated coffees. We're simply saying that, in our opinion, the Swiss Water decaffeination process is the best system we know of for obtaining quality decaf, at least to this day.
