Ethiopia Limu is a coffee variety unknown to many, yet it comprises the largest coffee-growing area in Djimma. It is primarily cultivated using terms like "forest" and "semi-forest," indicating that the coffee trees are wild.
Due to the altitude and dense shade, the coffee grows slowly and at a steady pace; there is no cyclical production, but it is consistent year after year. The potential for quality is enormous, and it possesses unique attributes not found elsewhere.
THE CAR WASH STATION
Coffee processed without water at the Seid Kedir washing station. It is located in the town of Nora Korate, Dara district, in the Sidamo area. The cooperative was established in 1975 and comprises 1,845 small-scale producers. The coffee farm is situated at an altitude of 1,800 meters above sea level, covering an area of 1,730 hectares. The cooperative works exclusively with certified organic and Fairtrade coffees.THE GRAINS
